Here is a close up picture of the circuit I have been working on. I wanted to hand assemble the first one so I can test it without having to pay for a full run on 16. Some of the parts are QUITE small! I placed a standard dime on the circuit board, to give some idea of scale. The smallest parts are only 20 thousands of an inch across! 35 of them would span the width of the dime! Needless to say, it’s very difficult to precisely place these parts.
One of the parts was impossible to solder using a soldering iron…so I used a cast iron! That’s right, I used solder paste and heated it on my stove until the solder melted. And….IT’S ALIVE!!! This little circuit could be a huge game changer!
